At Mansfield and Bronstein, our elder law attorneys have specialized knowledge in the areas of the law that directly relate to our aging or elderly clients. We help our clients prepare for the future and address concerns they may have about their rights and obligations as they age. Many clients fear aging and have hesitations about confronting the future. At Mansfield and Bronstein, we help guide our clients through the process with a keen understanding of the law and a compassionate ear. For example, we help clients prepare for the possibility of disability, incapacity, in-home health care, placement in a residential nursing home or even hospice. We also offer advice on public benefits such as Medicaid and Medicare and on preparing health care surrogacy forms, living wills and durable powers of attorney. We also handle trusts and estates issues for our elderly clients and for family members who have questions about the way their loved ones’ estates are being managed. Led by attorney Gary Mansfield, Mansfield and Bronstein’s elder law group works closely with clients to navigate issues specific to the aging and elderly population.
